Responsibilities
As an employee of Coborn's, Inc., the HR Generalist will partner with Store and Department Leaders and provide HR expertise on all aspects of human resources including, but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training & Development, and Safety. Duties will include leading talent acquisition activities (sourcing, interviewing, and presenting offers to candidates), conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and according to state and federal laws. Will also act as a liaison between employees and management. Involvement includes employee investigations, providing coaching, communicating policies and procedures, implementing recognition/retention strategies, and determining proper corrective actions.
Qualifications
The HR Generalist typically requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred). One to three (1-3) years experience as a HR Generalist. Working knowledge of all employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, Americans with Disabilities Act, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, and Harassment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
