Summary:
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related non-productive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity Preform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment Desired; use of mechanical test equipment Develop and lead all mechanical maintenance work Perform preventive maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment Diagnose and repair consumer mechanical product Providing mechanical support on the customer's equipment Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems Perform mechanical technician duties for maintenance, operations, testing and fabrication Install new or replacement mechanical equipment or related accessories Perform maintenance routines and equipment repairs on all mechanical equipment with or without supervision Troubleshoot and repair mechanical machinery of alltypes Troubleshoot and repair mechanical machinery of all types Make mechanical repairs and adjustments Work as a mechanical technician on all aspects of mechanical build and processing for the space vehicle program Fabricate and test mechanical components and subsystem Perform installation of mechanical systems at customer site Use computer to update mechanical procedures Responding to higher-level mechanical issues Recommended Skills Hydraulics Mechanical Technician Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
