Facility Manager
Primary Responsibilities Plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Facilitate communication between departments to ensure flow of service is maintained.
Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance.
Ensure that all equipment is working properly and efficiently.
Ensure building is maintained and meets health and safety requirements.
Track and communicate district initiatives and metrics (HSE & Service Quality) to facility personal.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements 10
years relevant experience; including 5
years of supervising Manufacturing functions in an ISO 9001 environment Knowledge of, and experience with, electrical and mechanical assembly and testing, machining, fabrication, welding, painting, procurement, materials, warehouse operations, and facility operation Demonstrated ability to hire, retain, and develop team members who demonstrate the willingness and ability to perform at a high level.
ASQ/SME/APICS Certifications and familiarity with manufacturing functional certifications (welding, electronics, hydraulics and pressure systems, supply chain) is desired Familiarity with IECEx, ATEX, and UL standards is desired A mindset and demonstrated experience implementing operational excellence that goes beyond the level of ISO/QSR/API compliance Demonstrated experience and ability to take a strong stance for customer needs while assuring productive shared problem solving with peers Ability and demonstrated success working cross-functionally Willingness and ability to periodically travel domestically and internationally (10%) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills Recommended Skills Api Communication Customer Demand Planning Electronics Facility Operations Hydraulics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
